Founded in 2015, Narragansett Soul is a group of professional musicians dedicated to bringing great live dance music to weddings and events throughout New England and beyond. The talented six-piece band is comprised of Berklee-trained music educators who specialize in classic soul and R&B dance hits, sprinkled with their own brand of rock and pop influences.

The group is multi-talented, also offering jazz for cocktail hours, corporate events, and similar functions. In addition, they can also break down into smaller arrangements to provide music for wedding ceremonies or events requiring a more classical approach. No matter what kind of event you’re hosting, Narragansett Soul will bring a professional touch that will have you and your guests impressed and on the dance floor!

Inspired by southern gothic imagery and everyday beauty, Nyota Road is a husband and wife acoustic duo performing original songs about family, relationships and home. It all started when singer, Greta decided to write a song as a birthday gift for her husband, Mark. She had always written silly tunes and even a children’s book, but never a “serious” song. From that first tune came another and another, each song telling stories reminiscent of relationships, family and growing up her hometown of Warrior, Alabama.

They call themselves Nyota Road, named from a road in Greta’s hometown. Growing up, she used to play on the river with her friends and take walks along the train trestle. They would spend hours floating down the river, taking in the world as they knew it. To get there, they would need to travel down Nyota Road. The band chose the name because it lead to places where Greta’s happiest memories took place.

Mark’s impressive guitar playing, mixed with Greta’s gentle and beautiful voice give the band an acoustic and folk feel, with a natural tendency toward country. They’re available for all kinds of events, including private parties, corporate events, community events, and so much more.

The a cappella group consists of four to five incredibly talented vocalists with years of live performance experience. Our most popular holiday quartet to date, The Mistletones have an upbeat, fun and festive feel with 100% memorized song lyrics. They’ve been featured on ABC-TV, NBC-TV, and offer music that ranges from classic carols to modern holiday songs with more contemporary arrangements. They even come complete with a beatboxer! Timmy Brown is a Nashville recording artist who splits his time between New England and Nashville, Tennessee. His original country music, infectious energy, and talent have not only made him a local favorite, but have also afforded him the opportunity to play with an incredibly long list of big names, such as Kane Brown, Cam, LANCO, Dustin Lynch, Granger Smith, Jerrod Niemann, Frankie Ballard, Love and Theft, Wynonna Judd, Mitchell Tenpenny, Easton Corbin and many, many others. In the fall of 2017, he auditioned for “American Idol”, where he finished in the top 60!

Shortly after his audition, he was approached by members of a local country band called Black Diamond and was asked to become their lead singer. Since then, Black Diamond has become The Timmy Brown Band. Timmy’s love of music is most evident when he’s on stage performing. His natural ability to connect with the audience and draw them in has earned him a loyal fan base.

In April 2016, Timmy’s debut EP “Leave This Town” was released. The recordings, done at Sound Emporium and Blackbird in Nashville, feature a production team that has engineered for famous artists like Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan, and Blake Shelton. The team provided the perfect soundscape for an impressive voice and performance. And impressive, it was. On the same day of its release, Timmy’s first single “Lil Bit” made its way to the top 100 charts on iTunes! These days, when they’re not performing live, you can find the Timmy Brown Band on 101.7 The Bull, 102.5 WKLB, iTunes, Spotify and Google Play.
